Artist Showcase: Woodworkers Bree + Nate Millard of BAN Supply Co.

Bree + Nate Millard - Solitude — The cedar Solitude round sign was one of many resort pieces we created for a client. These rounds allowed us to come up with a simple, classy iconic image with a gray stain on raw cedar, and framed with whiskey barrel hoops.

Bree + Nate Millard — The little Honeycomb was a piece we created for the Porcupine show. We have incorporated the honeycomb concept in several Solitude resort pieces. People seem very connected to it. It’s been a fun design to recreate over the years with a little twist each time.

Bree + Nate Millard - Henry's Fork — Henry’s Fork was a commissioned piece. Between the design elements, typography and outdoor scene we were stoked on the overall feel of this, and it now hangs in a cabin in that area.

Bree + Nate Millard - Lodgepole — The Lodgepole was inspired by the old postcards that said, “GREEETINGS FROM…” The animated Lodgepole pines are iconic to the Uinta Mountains where we spend a lot of time. We included the genus species name for a little extra content and interest.

Bree + Nate Millard - National Parks custom wood sign — The National Parks piece was created for our annual show at Porcupine Pub. At the time, it was the largest design we created without it being a commission, at 3×3 feet. As much as we love our clients, it’s always a treat to design with no outside input. We worked hard to make this piece feel like you could walk into it. This photo doesn’t do justice to that effect, but we were pleased with the overall design and typography.

Bree + Nate Millard - Wedding — The Christina and Adam piece was commissioned. It is on maple wood and was one of the first pieces we included a perimeter of design elements to encompass the location of their wedding location.
